The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the release of the Admit Card for the Combined Geo-Scientist Preliminary Examination 2025. Candidates who have applied for the 85 vacancies in various posts under the Combined Geo-Scientist Examination can download their admit cards from the official website upsconline.nic.in. The preliminary examination is scheduled to be held on 09th February 2025.
Maximum Age: 32 Years (Age relaxation is applicable as per government rules.)
Eligibility Criteria
1. Geologist Group A in Geological Survey of India
Qualification: Master’s degree in Geological Science, Geology, Applied Geology, Geo-Exploration, Mineral Exploration, Engineering Geology, Marine Geology, Earth Science and Resource Management, Oceanography and Coastal Areas Studies, Petroleum Geosciences, or Geochemistry. 2. Geophysicist Group A in Geological Survey of India and Scientist B (Geophysics) Group A & Assistant (Geophysicist) Group B in C.G.W.B.
Qualification: M.Sc. in Physics, Applied Physics, Geophysics, Integrated M.Sc. (Exploration Geophysics), Applied Geophysics, Marine Geophysics, or M.Sc. (Tech.) (Applied Geophysics).
3. Chemist Group A in Geological Survey of India and Scientist B (Chemical) under C.G.W.B.
Qualification: M.Sc. in Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, or Analytical Chemistry.
4. Scientist B (Hydrogeology) Group A and Assistant (Hydrogeologist) Group B in C.G.W.B.
Qualification: Master’s degree in Geology, Applied Geology, Marine Geology, or Hydrogeology.
5. Assistant (Chemist) Group B in C.G.W.B.
Qualification: Master of Science or Integrated Master of Science in Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Hydro-Chemistry, or Industrial Chemistry.

How to Download UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist Admit Card 2025
Click on the “Admit Card” link under the examination section.
Select the Combined Geo-Scientist Examination 2025.
Enter your Registration ID and Date of Birth.
Click on Submit to view and download your admit card.
Take a printout of the admit card for future reference.
