The preliminary examination consists of two objective-type papers, each with multiple-choice questions.
- Negative Marking: For every incorrect answer, 1/3 of the marks assigned to the correct answer will be deducted.

Follow these steps to download the CGPSC State Service Examination admit card:
- Visit the Official Website: Open the CGPSC website at psc.cg.gov.in.
- Find the Link: Under the Important Links section, click on the link:
“CLICK HERE TO VIEW/PRINT ONLINE ADMIT CARD OF STATE SERVICE (PRELIMS) EXAM-2024”. - Login to the Portal: Enter your registered Email ID and Password.
- Verify: Check the “I’m not a robot” box and proceed.
- Download Admit Card: Click on the Login button to view your admit card. Download and save the PDF or take a printout for future reference.
